Introducing Vose Library

Vose Library is a significant Christian library, existing to resource both Vose students and other Christians in Western Australia.

Over the last five decades, we have built up a collection we are proud of, consisting of 38,000 books and thousands of journals, including ninety current titles. Our library is constantly growing and innovating, and adds 1200 new titles each year. It is the place to keep pace with development in Christian thinking and practice. Our collection includes a broad range of Christian perspectives as well as secular writers, with an evangelical focus and a Baptist heritage.

You're welcome to come and browse the library; to borrow, you can become a member.

Services and Collections

DVD Collection

250 (and counting) DVDs. The collection features documentaries about Christian history and theology, teaching DVDs like Nooma, small group DVDs, and some films and junior DVDs. We add to the collection every month.

Ebooks

We have a growing collection of over 440 recent release ebooks you can download for 21 days to your computer. The 440+ titles we own can be accessed by public members; non-owned titles are only available to our students and staff.

Online databases

you don't even need to leave your home; we subscribe to EBSCO databases, ATLA and RPC and also Proquest Religion, giving you access to hundreds of journals, with many of them full text.

Talking books

listen to a book in the car with our new talking book collection, featuring recordings of classic and recent release books of Christian life and thought.

Secondhand booksale

bargain priced secondhand Christian books all year round, as well as the massive annual sale. More info.

Copying and scanning

free scanning to USB or email; printing or copying for 15c per side black and white or 30c colour.
Wireless internet for all library members.

Opening Hours

During semester, including study breaks, our opening hours are:

Monday: 8am - 5pm
Tuesday to Thursday: 8am - 7pm
Friday: 8am - 5pm
Saturday: 10am-1pm

The Library is closed on public holidays. You can return books anytime through the after-hours chute.
