This cluster is designed to stretch your understanding and practice of leadership. It is particularly relevant to those who lead teams in formal or informal settings.

Outline

(Topics covered):

Leadership Foundations: What is leadership? What types of leadership are there? Are we born with it? Can we learn it?
Integrity, Beliefs and Values: Character is our foundation for leadership. Explore the implications of the Gospel for leaders and you will be assisted to develop your own ministry philosophy with these in mind.
Vision & Voice: leaders change things from what exists to what can exist. Seeing a future and developing capacity to communicate it are basic to leading.
Emotional Intelligence: Introduction to intra- and inter-personal awareness and intelligence.
Problem Solving & Complexity: Not all people solve problems the same way. Expand your understanding.
Creating and Leading Change: An introduction to effective ways to lead change.
