A deliberately flexible course, providing a core foundation of biblical and theological units, with a wide range of biblical, theological and ministry units so that that candidates may select units that fit specific growth and ministry goals.

Entry requirements

Candidates whose first language is not English will be required to show they have satisfactorily completed an appropriate English language test such as IELTS with an overall bandscore of 6.5, with 6.5 in reading and writing, and no individual module score of less than 6.0.

Entry to the Certificate IV of Ministry is not subject to any further entry requirements, although satisfactory completion of Yr 12 is recommended. However, candidates without this education prerequisite will be considered, and each application will be treated on its own merits.

Suitable for those looking for practical training that is immediately usable in their area of service. It is designed to help candidates gain the necessary competencies to be effective in a range of ministry contexts.

1 year full time, consisting of 8 units

Core Units: OT101, NT101, PC301, TH101
Elective Units: Specialty units include children's ministry, youth ministry, pastoral ministry and cross cultural studies. This course can also include two units of Internship.

30 June - 24 Nov - Power up (Elective for Cert IV Min) in conjunction with WA Children's Ministry Network. Six sessions of in-depth training for those involved in children's ministry. Can be taken for audit or credit.
