ACT Award

A four-year program in which requirements of MDiv are met, together with a further 32 points of units in the MDiv program.

Master of Arts (Ministry) or Master of Arts (Theology)

ACT Award

This course is aimed at broadening and deepening the ministry concepts begun in the first degree in theology or providing opportunities for initial professional and vocational development after the completion of a first degree in theology. As such it is a course of study for practitioners who already have some ongoing professional experience or for initial professional development.

These awards require eight units (64 credit points). At least six units will come from units in Ministry and Practice for the MA(Min) or from Bible and Christian Thought for the MA(Theol). Units will be offered on a part-time basis and can take up to six years to complete. An independent study project worth two units (16 cps) is allowed.

Students may exit after four units (32 cps) with a Graduate Diploma of Ministry or Graduate Diploma of Theology.
