Vose provides Nationally Recognised Training, being a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 0145) with courses accredited by the WA Government Training Accreditation Council. The Seminary and its courses are registered as open to overseas students (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) No. 01052B).
These qualifications provide students with the skills and competencies to enhance their ability to apply theological and practical skills in areas of employment or service in support roles in local churches.
The diploma can lead to jobs in Christian ministry such as school and hospital chaplaincy, or as youth workers in Christian agencies.
Certificate IV in Christian Studies

A one year program, comprising of 32 points (usually eight units). The Certificate provides students with skills and competencies to apply theological and practical skills for ministry, in support roles in Christian Churches and agencies.
Required Units (12 points).
At least one OT Unit from:
- Formative Old Testament Traditions.
- From Israel to Judea.
At least one NT Unit from:
- The Content and Setting of the Gospel Tradition.
- The Early New Testament Church.
- Foundations of Theology.
Electives (20 points).
Diploma in Christian Studies
(CRICOS 036116b NRT 51459) Vose Seminary Award
A two year programme, or part-time equivalent, of 64 points. Building on the Certificate IV level, the Diploma provides students with further skills and competencies to enhance their ability to apply theological and practical skills in areas of employment or service in support roles in local churches. The Diploma can lead to jobs in Christian ministry, school and hospital chaplains and youth workers in Christian agencies.
Required Units (64 points, usually 16 units).
- Formative Old Testament Traditions.
- From Israel to Judea.
- The Content and Setting of the Gospel Tradition.
- The Early New Testament Church.
- Foundations of Theology.
- Doctrine of God and the Work of Christ.
At least one of:
- Early Church History.
- Church from 1550 to Modern Times.
- Continental Reformation (Advanced Level).
At least two biblical exegesis subjects (one from each OT and NT).
Electives (28 points).
Advanced Diploma in Christian Studies

A three year programme or part-time equivalent of 96 points. The award provides a relevant qualification for members of ministry teams in churches, for school chaplains, youth workers in Christian agencies, and as a qualification in Christian studies as a supplement to other qualifications.
Required Units (44 points).

- From Israel to Judea.
- The Content and Setting of the Gospel Tradition.
- The Early New Testament Church.
- Foundations of Theology.
- The Doctrine of God and the Work of Christ.

Advanced Diploma in Ministry

A three year programme or part-time equivalent of 96 points. The Advanced Diploma of Ministry requires a minimum of 24 credit points in a practical area. The award provides a relevant qualification for members of ministry teams in churches, for school chaplains, youth workers in Christian agencies, and as a qualification in Christian Studies as a supplement to other qualifications.
Required Units (60 points).

- From Israel to Judea.
- The Content and Setting of the Gospel Tradition.
- The Early New Testament Church.
- Foundations of Theology.
- The Doctrine of God and the Work of Christ.
- Ministry Formation or Foundations for Youth Ministry.

Graduate Diploma in Ministry
(CRICOS 062947B , NRT 51480) Vose Seminary Award
A one year programme or part-time equivalent of 32 points. Available for students who have completed an Advanced Diploma in Ministry, or who have attained a BTheol, BMin, MDiv or BA (Theology). The award is designed as the academic standard for those seeking professional qualifications for pastoral ministry, hospital, school or army chaplaincy or counselling ministry.
To provide an appropriate breadth, students shall be required to have competencies in the following areas:
- Church in Australian Society - Leadership.
- Evangelism and/or Mission - Pastoral Care.
- Preaching and Worship - Ethics.
Students who have completed an AdvDipMin or equivalent, but not all the specified entry competencies, may be admitted to the GradDipMin, but shall be required to obtain the entry competencies by undertaking the relevant additional unit.
- One Field Education unit.
- Denominational Distinctives.
- Project with ministry focus or interaction.
- One Old Testament or New Testament Exegesis unit.
Four electives (16 points).
