Courses and Programs

Vose Seminary offers a range of program to suit a variety of needs. What follows is an overview of the study options available. Please contact us for further information on any of the courses. We'd love to hear from you whether you're interested in a single unit or a full degree.

Vose offers fully accredited courses in both the Vocational and Educational Training (VET) sector (from Certificate IV to Graduate Diploma) and the Higher Education sector (from Associate Degree to Masters degrees, and facilitating research Masters and Doctorates). Full-time courses are open to overseas students.

Study Options

Each of the courses offered by the college contain the flexibility to specialise in particular areas of interest, e.g. Childrens Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, or Counselling.

All programs (except the Master of Arts) are available on a full-time or part-time basis. Part-time enrolment may be for one or more units per semester and involves attending classes at times given in the timetable. The majority of classes are during the day but some are late afternoon or evening.

There is a time limit of nine years for the completion of Australian College of Theology (ACT) Bachelor Degrees and Master of Divinity, four years for ACT Graduate Diplomas and six years for the Master of Arts.

External Studies

Up to one third of the degrees may be taken in flexible mode. Vose does not presently offer units externally, but students are able to enrol for units offered through Morling College (NSW), also affiliated with ACT.

Cross Enrolment

Students enrolled at universities are able to apply at their university to cross-enrol with Vose-ACT so those units taught at Vose are included in their university programme. Students enrolled at other theological or Bible colleges may be able to cross-enrol with Vose.

Individual Units

There is also the option of taking one, or a few units, at Vose for personal interest. Options are available for taking units for credit in case of further study, or in an audit mode. Audit allows you to attend all the classes, but there are no assessments.
